Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Swiftieverse is an independent, unofficial fan project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Taylor Swift, her management, her record labels, or any of her representatives. Song titles, album names, artwork, and other trade marks belong to their respective owners and are used here for identification and commentary only.

The site is provided free of charge as a hobby project. There is no company behind it and no paid tier.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Swiftieverse, or older where your local law requires a higher minimum age for online services (16 in parts of the EEA and the UK). By using the service you confirm you meet that requirement.

If we learn that an account belongs to someone below the applicable age, we will delete it.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it.

Provide an email address you actually control — it is how you verify your account and recover access.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you post: your rankings, lists, posts, comments, bio, and avatar. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already made in backups or retained where the law requires.

You confirm that you have the right to post what you post, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

Your published rankings and profile are public. Treat anything you post as visible to anyone on the internet.

5. Acceptable use

Don't harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse anyone. Don't post content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that reveals private information about another person.

Don't attempt to break, overload, or circumvent the service: no scraping or automated access without permission, no probing or bypassing rate limits, authentication, or other security controls, and no attempts to access accounts or data that aren't yours.

Don't use the service to distribute malware, spam, or unsolicited promotion.

6. Moderation and suspension

We may remove content, suspend an account, or withdraw access at our discretion, with or without notice, where we believe these terms have been broken or where doing so protects the community or the service.

We are not obliged to monitor content, and we don't endorse anything users post.

7. Copyright

If you believe something on Swiftieverse infringes your copyright, contact us at privacy@taylorswiftsongranking.com with a description of the work, the location of the material, and your contact details, and we will review it promptly.

We will remove infringing material and may suspend accounts of repeat infringers.

8. Third-party services

The service depends on third parties including Cloudflare (hosting, security, and email delivery) and, if you choose to connect it, Spotify. Public pages may embed content from Spotify and YouTube. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

9. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any data will be preserved. Keep your own copy of anything you would be upset to lose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or anticipated savings, arising out of or relating to your use of the service — whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, and even if we have been advised of the possibility.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100).

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal costs arising out of the content you post, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

12. Changes and termination

We may modify these terms or change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Where changes are material we will make reasonable efforts to give notice. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.

You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time — see the Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of the service, are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

You agree that the state and federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Virginia have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

If you are a consumer resident outside the United States, nothing in this section removes the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, or any right you have under local law to bring proceedings there.

14. General

If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions stay in full force.

Our failure to enforce any part of these terms is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the service, and replace any earlier understanding.

You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent. We may transfer ours if the service changes hands, in which case this agreement continues on the same footing.
